Energica, after several patents reached in recent years, announces that the Chinese patent application relating to the VCU (Vehicle Control Unit) has successfully passed the technical examination and has entered the final phase of the bureaucratic procedure which, in the coming months, will lead to the patent.
Energica’s battery, inverter, charger and ABS are constantly monitored and managed by one technological jewel: the VCU, completely designed and developed by Energica.
This Vehicle Control Unit implements a multi-map adaptive energy, and a power management algorithm manages the electric motorcycle. Carefully monitoring and adjusting the motor’s power according to the throttle thrust 100 times per second while riding.
