The resource, reporting to the Vehicle Electronics & Powertrain Manager, will be responsible for:

• the development and electronic design of the vehicle;
• FW engineering (definition of specifications, architecture);
• the architecture of the vehicle electronics;
• the development of the battery management system;
• scouting for energy storage solutions.

We are looking for a professional with Degree in Electronic Engineering or similar, and with previous experience in the role of Firmware Engineer or Firmware Developer (preferably from the Automotive/Motorcycle sector).

• The candidate must be proficient in model design tools (Matlab, Simulink, Labview); he/she must have experience in code generation and programming in the embedded C / C ++ field, and experience on ARM microcontrollers and RTOS.
• The caniddate should be familiar with the following topics: describe what an RTOS is and how it works; describe in detail what a bootloader is and how to write a bootloader; know what a trace port is and what it can be used for; be able to write a program in C that takes an input number N, calculates O = 64 * (N + 1) if N <100 or O = (N-1) / 32 if N> = 100, trying to keep the code as compact as possible and as efficient as possible; know how to implement a FIR filter in the most efficient way (by runtime) using a Cortex M4 mcu with FPU.
• Finally, the candidate must speak English fluently.

The figure will report to the Technical Management and in accordance with company policies and strategies, will have the following responsibilities:

• improvement and industrialization of new / existing products;
• definition of processing cycles, optimizing time, costs and quality;

Role description

• Interface with different business departments in order to plan purchases according to company’s needs
• Identify potential suppliers by analysing offers and assessing the best price-quality ratio
• Interface with the historical suppliers in order to deal with them the terms of purchase and the conditions of the supply: quantity, delivery times, prices, modalities of delivery and to take care of the respect of the agreed procedures
• Manage orders at administrative level and maintain commercial relations with national and international suppliers
• In particular you will have to deal with technical material for the automotive sector, components for both exterior and interior of the motorbike and electronic components

Reporting to the Vehicle Electronics & Powertrain Manager, the candidate will be responsible for connecting the Design Team, Pre-Production Department, Production and Service department with the aim of improving the vehicle electronic system as well as the company infrastructure via research activity, prototyping and testing. Good relational and reporting capabilities as well as documentation writing are key factors for the selection of the candidate.

We are looking for a professional with Electronic or Electric Engineering Degree with a previous experience in the same role.

• The candidate must have proficient use of lab equipment (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, multimeter); he/she must know main automotive protocols and communication technologies (CAN Bus, UDS, KWP2000).
• Other required skills are fluent English, problem solving attitude and good reporting capabilities.
• Finally, basic programming skills (C or/and C++) are considered a valuable plus.
