In Luxembourg, the government is funding the construction of 672 additional charging points for electric cars, 44 of which are fast chargers, with more than 4.5 million euros. A total of 29 projects from 19 companies have now been selected as part of the first call for funding.
At least for the fast chargers, companies will be subsidised with up to 50 per cent of the investment costs related to the construction of the charging station. There are additional exemptions for small and medium-sized enterprises. The Luxembourg government’s funding for charging infrastructure projects is aimed at companies of all sizes.
