Agreement Total Italia – Energica: the company will be the first Italian one to implement Total Italia charging stations

Energica following the international partnership signed last July 2020 with Total Lubrifiants, announces a new collaboration with Total Italia, which will sponsor eleven charging facilities at the Modena factory.

Starting from April 2021, Total Italia and Energica will install eleven 22 kW charging stations inside the parking area of the Energica plant and that will be available for both employees and guests of the Italian company. Total Italia has chosen Energica as the first Italian location for this type of installation.
The Energica headquarters therefore become even more advanced: a true technological heart of the new Electric Valley.
“Within the electric culture, the charging network is a key element for market growth” says Livia Cevolini, CEO of Energica Motor Company.
“For the growth of an industrial sector like ours, several factors are needed: technology, innovation, financing and infrastructures. Energica has always believed in the right combination of all these elements in order to grow and affirm our products all over the world.”
“In our commitment at the forefront of the transition to electric-powered vehicles, we have focused primarily on technology that has confirmed us among the leaders in the high-performance electric motorcycle sector. Now thanks to Total Italia, which has chosen us as the ideal location for its first installation of Total charging stations in Italy, we can add another innovative milestone to our production site “.
“The electric sector is a key market and today essential for a sustainable development in compliance with new trends and a growing awareness at a social level” says Filippo Redaelli, CEO of Total Italia.
“The energy markets are evolving driven by the environmental challenge, which commits us personally in the development of solutions and new activities according to the climate goal announced by the Group last year to become a zero emissions company by 2050.”

“For this reason, we are particularly proud with the start of the collaboration with Energica, alongside which we also announce the installation of the first Total’s latest generation charging stations in Italy; this is an important project we had been working on for some time and a significant step for our Company towards a new future”.

The installation of charging stations at the Modena factory will be accompanied by a plan of commercial offers for wallboxes that Energica will propose to the official network of dealers and importers.
