Energica signed an important new industrial collaboration agreement with Siemens Digital Industries Software. As part of the collaboration, Siemens will provide technical expertise and knowledge along with solutions from the Siemens Xcelerator portfolio to enable Energica’s continuous growth in the field of battery technology and thermodynamic control innovation.
The development of the electric motorcycle will be accelerated with the most advanced 3D systems simulation and CFD methodologies from Siemens’ Xcelerator portfolio of software and services. Energica aim to benefit from the advantages offered by Siemens’ NX™ software for product engineering alongside Simcenter™ Amesim™ software, Simcenter™ STAR-CCM+™ software and Simcenter™ FLOEFD™ software for battery simulation. This will enable Energica to continue the development of high-performance electric motorcycles that are “Proudly Made in Modena” and of which Energica is a world leader.
