The city of Frankfurt am Main has granted permission for the installation of additional charging stations. As the city has now announced, this will allow around 50 charging locations with over 120 charging points to be set up on public transport areas.
The background to the public charging infrastructure development is the massive increase in the number of new registrations of e-vehicles. “At the beginning of the year, electric vehicles accounted for less than two percent of the total number of passenger cars, but by mid-November there were already almost 35,000 registered vehicles with a plug. This corresponds to a share of more than 9.6 percent of the total number of passenger cars in Frankfurt am Main,” says the city, which expects the ten-percent mark to be exceeded before the end of the year.
This agreement with Das Motorradhaus Stocksiefen increases our presence in Germany, where the market is in continuous development. The new dealer is the 13th in Germany, a country that looks with greater interest to the development of e-mobility .
