According to Avere – the national association for the development of electric mobility – 1.025.602 electrified vehicles were present on French roads in October 2022. These vehicles now represent nearly 20% of sales.
Over the years, the country has significantly increased the use of electric vehicles: in 2018 there were 127,683 electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles in circulation, which became 439,167 in 2020 and then 1,025,602 at the end of October 2022.
